If somebody gets Champion Windows, they need to go with the plain white windows and not mess with the color bonding. It costs considerably more, and the first round in my case was defective. Based on my experience, although Champion did seem to honor their warranty, it was not an easy or painless process to get them to do so. In fact, they seemed reluctant to do so. I would deal with someone other than the Dayton office if they can.
I would not recommend them to anyone unless the person get an accurate timeline as to when work would be completed written into the contract.. Product seems fine. Staff was friendly and professional. Instead of having my three windows in the 6-8 week time period, it took 13 weeks to complete work. Very dissatisfying when windows are manufactured 30 miles away.
The finished product looks good. My house was left a mess though. The trim was broken and not replaced even though they said they would. After paying a premium price for the windows, they were left with caulk and hand prints which meant hours of cleaning.
