There was a disappointment in having to pay some money, almost $500, to take care of some lead paint issue. I wanted that to be covered by the $500 advertisement they had when we went down to the home improvement show. Now we have to pay for that, when we could have had it covered by the paperwork at the home show. They said it was included in the discounts, but that was just talk.

The quality of the product (windows, siding and patio) is outstanding. The time it took for the install was pathetic. Almost 6 months. I also had the crews return several times for incorrect and poor installation practices. Communication between myself, the office manager and the install crews was almost non-existent. When I spoke with the manager at Champion on Randolph Blvd. he said that he never came across a situation such as mine where the house had gutters and downspouts. REALLY!

I think that the guy that installed was good, but his helper was not. I think that the upper management is not very good, because they did not show up once. Considering the problems that I had with the scheduling, I felt that someone would have showed up, but they did not. If I was upper management and I had problems that occurred with a customer, I would be sure to make a personal appearance.

I'm very unhappy with them because they didn't come out when they were supposed to. They cancelled because of the weather but it wasn't even raining. Then they said someone got hurt so it seemed like they were just giving excuses. When they came out it was the wrong window. They said to go ahead and install that window and they would order the right one. It's been four weeks and we haven't heard from anybody.

If you want the job done wrong and your house messed up use Champion Windows. If you want to wait a long time for a job to be completed incorrectly call Champion Windows.

I am totally dissatisfied with the accuracy of the re-orders. The first crew completely were unprofessional, reminding me of the Three Stooges!! Subsequently they were fired.
