Great place to eat in our Great place to eat in our own neighborhood, and reasonable pricing. We go there often to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or a nice quiet New Year's! Always cozy and comfortable atmosphere.
The Easter Buffet left a lot The Easter Buffet left a lot to want. You couldnot even tell what the beef tips were. The salads all tasted the same. The chocolate cake fell apart when you touched it to get it out of the pan. The only really good item on the buffet was the chicken.
First time at this restaurant. First time at this restaurant. We had a reservation and were seated right away. We first were brought into the bar and asked to be moved. Girl was nice and obliging. Server was very friendly and nice. The best part was the food! The best tasting food we had tasted in awhile (very flavorful). We enjoyed every course! Bill was about $80 for 2 with a drink, salad, appetizer and main course. Only complaint was noisy atmosphere. Definitely recommend and will be back.

A bit off this time...One A bit off this time...One of the reasons we love Charbonos is that they do the simple things right...like a simple chicken sandwich is normally great because it is so perfectly cooked. This time quite dry and tough...won't have that again. And the salad, well a bit "wet." An off day apparently.
If you are an adult party, If you are an adult party, I highly recommend sitting in the bar area and asking for Wendy as your server. She did a great job of keeping drinks refilled and remaining friendly but not obtrusive. The food was delicious and served the perfect temperature, at the perfect pace. The ambience in the bar is slightly darker and cozier than the main dining room.

.Food was really good and .Food was really good and you got big portions. It was our wedding anniversary and when we told the server she gave us a free dessert, won my heart instantly. Probably the best restaurant in Avon, Plainfield area for food taste, I got the scallops and they were amazing!
