Very disappointed in this visit. Old pre-cooked chicken. No refills. Very bad service.
My husband and I thought it would be a nice place to take my mom for Mother's Day. We always found it to be a nice place with pretty good food and good service. Last Sunday our food was fair at best and our service was slow. We had a party of 8 and our table was put in a very inconvenient location. Often when a party was seated they were taken past our table and had to squeeze between us and a booth. Pretty alright overall. Good and friendly service that wasn't particularly timely. He was a new server and did great. Very personable. The food was mediocre, again, and overpriced for the quality. I will probably go again, but will try another dish.
Charbonos is my wife's favorite resturant! Well it was... It was mine too for a long time, however the overall quality of the food has greatly decreased. This wouldn't be too unforgivable because the quality was always really high, so even decreased it is pretty good. However the service has absolutely hit bottom! Restaurant was wonderful as usual. "open table" experience stinks - request for specific seating did not appear on computer to restaurant personnel so it was pretty worthless.
Had reservation. When we arrived the hostess said "Great--they are cleaning your table off right now." When we inquired about getting seated some 20+ minutes later she said she was sorry that people had just taken longer to leave than she thought. I told her that was fine but then she shouldn't have told me they were cleaning off a table when we arrived. Service was slow and restaurant very loud. Not nearly as good for food as it used to be.
We had a horrible experience with Charbobos. We made reservations and didn't get seated until 30 minutes after our reservation time. The food did not come out as we ordered it, the service was poor and the female manager working the shift was rude and beyond helpful. In fact, she was talking about our table in ear shot and making rude gestures in front of us. We will not be back!
I have long been a fan of Charbono's and their sister resturants. However, their service has been on a steady decline! Reserved 8 for my wife's 30th birthday, but ended up at 6 ppl.1. Food is great! Food was lukewarm at its best. Server was unattentive. Very slow service overall. Would not go back. Sad to say since we were celebrating our anniversary.
