Inept Service Our waitress was unable to handle our table of 4, forgetting utensils, spilling drinks, ignoring requests for cleaning spilled drinks, forgot dipping oil for bread, forgetting to slice the dipping bread, then arguing with us about it. It was busy, we get it, but our server couldn't leave the popular people in the next booth alone, to our detriment. And, my long-standing complaint -- do they ever clean the crappy plastic vines draped all over the ceiling?
Ignored Mostly empty, but was not able to direct toward an open area for table selection. Once seated, ignored by waitress for 15 minutes while we watched her conversation with associate. After requesting to be relocated or reassigned waiters, same disgusted waitress was chased to our table. Disappointed and disgusted with staff we walked out. We did go to 2nd restaurant of same ownership and had a delightful meal.
Stay away from the Buffet! I was so disappointed! I took my Mother there for Mother's Day and was prepared for the buffet, but did not realize other menu options were not available. The food on the buffet was luke warm and bland. In most cases the dishes were empty and slowly replenished. Nothing was marked so you had to guess in some cases what the dish was supposed to be. We often visit Charbono's We often visit Charbono's and order the same menu items. Our BBQ Chicken Pizza was extremely burnt on the bottom which made the flavor less than optimal. Both men in the dinner parties ordered the burger, with different preferences on cooking temp and different toppings. The cooks switched the burgers and toppings so when my husband bit into a rare burger, he was not too happy. The men had to switch all the toppings and swap burgers. Many great experiences, but this time was AWFUL
When we arrived the hostess was not friendly yet not rude. There was a very big b'day party going on and instead of asking us if we would be okay to sit next to it she just assumed, I stated that I did not want to sit next to a b'day party, she got extremely rude and said we would have to wait until a table was available, we pointed out there were several open and she stated they needed to be cleaned, however there was nothing on the tables, so she proceeded to twirl her hair and talk to her friend and after 5 minutes we eve... read more
Was disappointed that no mention was made about my birthday. Thought server would be informed, and when she asked if anyone wanted dessert I had to ask for my birthday dessert. I was very embarassed. If an effort is made to make a reservation stating that it is a birthday, and wanting to redeem a birthday dessert then the server should be informed.
