Very Poor Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay. As for location, it’s great. Right across from the beach and boardwalk. However, that’s where the positives end. First, the staff here are not at all friendly. I never saw a smile one time. We entered the room to find only two of the four lights worked. We asked for them to be fixed, was told they would be, they weren’t. Ok, not a huge issue, but then there was the remote control for the TV. A Fair Stay, But Could Be Better. Now for the not so good things. #1. I booked this Motel stay over 1 month ago for one of the front rooms, I did not get the room that my family member, and I paid for. So, the Motel put me, and my family member in the back of the Motel instead of the front. That made us mad. #2. The TV did not work when we got there, but finally worked after the maintenance person came out to fix it. #3. The room had one queen bed and the bed was not comfortable. #4. #1 It can be that you needed to book specifically an ocean view couple room. Records show that you reserved a couple room not an ocean view. So the system put you in an available couple room at the standard rate that you paid for, for the nights requested. We made no changes to your reservation at the motel, as any changes would have to be made through booking agent used. #2 TV wasn’t broken, it needed to be rebooted and we took care of that. Poor Poor management. No shower curtain I slipped and fell on a wet floor. Told staff at desk and manager never followed up.

Good morning Bill. The missing shower curtain and wet floor slip was reported to our desk at 2:55pm. A fresh clean shower curtain was hung at 3:15 by our housekeeping manager. Our desk clerk who took your comments, did a report when you explained the incident. Our on site manager asked how you were feeling as well at breakfast and was told fine. Not comfortable when u had to add piles to hold up second floor I did not like that the balcony was held up by wood poles or whatever they were. I did not like that we were only there two days and came to swim but the pool was closed a whole day. Also you should get a grill. I like the little towel made into a duck. I like the coffee and bagles.

You don't get what you pay for I wasn't given the room I booked I was given a cheaper room and not refunded the difference. Pool wasn't open, it was noisy and the dumpster was over flowing It was near the beach

Hi Tina! I know you had hoped to have a room upstairs with an ocean view. Sadly, your reservation through booking was a couple room, not ocean view. You did tell me you were disappointed. We did not have anywhere to upgrade you to. But the rate is the same up or down. Ocean view would have been significantly higher. If ever we can help we will for sure. Thanks for the feedback.

Fair Room was too small and had no table 

Business response:

We also offer very large rooms with table and chairs, bench, large closet and microwave. You choose the economical single queen after reading the description which includes the square footage.

Disappointing Photos of rooms were misleading. Room was much smaller than expected. Housekeeping was abysmal. We were told we would have daily housekeeping and housekeeping only came in our room on one day of our 5 day stay, even with us asking the front desk to make sure housekeepers cleaned our room. No coffee in room, but was available in lobby which some days did not open until close to 9 am. Too late for early risers. No breakfast of any type, of course Covid was the excuse. Old building.
