Talk about misrepresentation!! "Sure you can put your membership on hold for medical reasons for as long as you need to". Brought in a letter from my oncologist stating he didn't want me to be in the gym because my white blood count was too low due to chemotherapy and I was susceptible to infection. My cancer spanned over quite a long period of time. (some of which they still charged my credit card - even after I brought in the letter.) I give this place 2 stars because of their management and cooperation with it's members; as a gym without staff this place is a 4 star gym. I moved months ago and when I called I was told I needed to come in in person to cancel the fees. Due to being in a different state for 10 months I was unable to do anything about it and I was continually charged the fees each month. Chuze as a corporate entity has questionable business practices. First, they insist on getting into your bank account to pay the monthly fee. I just had the bank issue a new chip card and am being charged 10.00 by Chuze because I didn't go the the site and pay cash prior to the due date of the fist. This card was not issued until 08/31/16, it's unrealistic for Chuze to demand that payment information be changed 10 days prior to the billing cycle. That's not always possible. the music selection is terrible and the volume is way too high. they worry about members making noise and then subject us to this continuous high volume junk is terrible. i wear over the ear headphones and have to use high volume in those just to get over the sound level of the gym music. the sound environment is that of a cheap nightclub. another bad problem is the audio jacks on too many of the cycles and treadmills do not work at all or i need to fiddle with the jack to try and get it playing the feed.i have been a member... read more

A gym with no barbells or squat rack. The place looks nice but a gym that recommends smith machines isn't a good place to workout. Ever.

I was excited to start my membership today, and brought my roommate to check it out so hopefully he would join. The website said "free one day pass" but I did not have a printer at the house so we just went to the gym. The girl was not very friendly and said he had to pay for the day pass. I told her the website said one day pass was free, she said that's only if you fill out the form on the computer. They charged him money and then had him fill out the same form on a kiosk in the lobby. I doubt he will join now, and I ... read more
I've been with this location since it opened and lately you can tell new management is taking the gym in a less friendly more like every meathead gym direction. For instance, they used to have a few nice people behind the desk when you walk in, some of whom would greet you by name but always said hello and goodbye when you left. Now there seems to be more employees standing around talking to each other and one facing you with arms crossed policing you as you walk in, who deliberately doesn't say hello. I joined Chuze Fitness a few days ago. Today, I asked if they have a weight scale. The front attendant said that they do no have one. A fitness facility and no weight scale? I should have asked them before I signed up and decided not to joined. Don't tell me they can not invested in some cheap weight scale. Very disappointed!

was coming thru town in my rv and came here to get a day pass to use the shower facilities but the manager wouldn't allow me to do so without entering all of my personal info into the computer. wasn't comfortable doing so... just using shower after all! but NOPE he wouldn't budge. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE....just saying! left without using there facilities unsatisfied. :/
