I like this gym in that it's kept clean all throughout the day & very conveniently located. The staff can be a hit or miss but for the most part very friendly. One major setback is the locker room showers. This is the 2nd time where I had just entered 1 of the larger shower stalls to take a shower & as I was shampooing my hair a woman interrupted me & proceeded to ask me if I'm going to be done soon...?? I normally love coming to this gym when in the area but I had a terrible experience with the girl behind the counter today with the blonde highlights in her hair. I wanted to go in the sauna and she didn't let me because I didnt have a towel?! Really?! They have never once told me anything over not having a towel! And get this she wanted to charge me for one instead of doing the hospitable thing and letting borrow one. Horrible customer service
It is always freezing in here. It takes 30 minutes to fully warm myself up. The fans are blowing like crazy above the cardio equipment which doesnt make sense. Im here trying to kill cardio and sweat but the fans and airconditioning makes it difficult to do that. If only they can make the gym a bit warmer and tone down the fan, this gym will be perfect. Cant wait for the opening of the new gym with consistent i door temperature down in Hawaiian Gardens. I cant hardly wait.

I was so excited to go to the gym before my appointment across the street but I was so very disappointed here. The staff didn't acknowledge me because they were consumed with personal chit chat. I had to search to find the women's locker room because the layout of this gym is like a maze. It was at the intersection of two unmarked hallways. But it was closed off and I was told had been for 5 days by a staff member who was polite and told me I could leave my bag at the front counter - they have no outside lockers. I belonged to Chuze Fitness in San Diego and it was an outstanding experience. I loved that Chuze was more of a relaxing, spa-like experience. It's a distinctly different energy, concept, and service delivery system than the stinky, sweaty, weight clanging, mirror glaring, masculine "gym" culture. As a guest they won't let you use the amenities. So I have to sit there and watch my friends use amenities. My advice go to a real gym, like 24 hour fitness where guests have full access to everything.

Over-all I like the facility in RC. It's has very nice equipment and very clean. However, after a year of attending, I've notice there are a few taking advantage of the lack of awareness from the staff. I've witnessed those with entry level memberships are able to access parts of the gym they are not paying for. Also, I've had to move from one sauna to the next, as I don't care to hear chattering conversations within the sauna about personal issues, relationships or politics. I have been coming to ChuzeFitness for almost 2 years and I've loved my experiences until last night. I'm not one to ever assume the worst in people, but the turn of events has given me the nasty gut feeling that the manager did me wrong. My sister and I checked into the gym a little before 9:30pm last night. I convinced my sister to try the 7 day trial so she can see why I loved going to this gym. Came here with a 7day pass. Gym is clean but very small. There is no kid center so that was a down side and bathrooms were dirty. When I asked the staff questions no one seem knowledgeable. I asked if I could use my pass at another chuze to try out the kids center and was told no until what I assume was a manger said yes but didn't give me any details. I guess it's back to 24 hour fitness for me where the staff is friendly and know about the place they work at
