The perfect covered patio for sitting and watching your kids run around a tree and attack each other with sticks! The typical kids menu options of chicken fingers, pizza, mac and cheese, but all were devoured with complete glee. Must have been all that running, and delicious food, of course! I would like to begin this review by saying that Citizen Soul made it possible for me to try grits for the first time in my entire life. I am allergic to corn, so I can't ever eat normal grits because ... well, they're technically corn. Citizen Soul used RICE GRITS and let me just say, I get the hype! Showed up before our reservation for a drink at the bar. Bartender was awesome, offered recommendations and samples. Server at dinner was also really helpful. Dinner was delicious and entree sizes we large and filling. Great service, great food, cool atmosphere

Loved everything about our experience at Citizen Soul! Stopped in for a late lunch & had a fantastic meal. We were promptly greeted, seated & introduced to our server, Camille. She was super knowledgeable & friendly. We had the pimento cheese fritters as a starter. Absolutely devoured them. They were light, crispy & filled with delicious cheesiness. We had a delicious dinner on the heated outside patio for our anniversary. The server and kitchen were very attentive to my food allergies and prepared everything both gluten and dairy free. Service was efficient and friendly. The salmon, braised short rib with Brussels sprouts, and braised bacon were all delicious. Our favorite was the salmon. I have been to citizen soul and enjoyed it every time. It is slightly more upscale than some of the other restaurants in downtown Alpharetta. Pretty solid wine list, solid service, good slightly upscale food. That sums it up.

Food was delicious. We got the Brussel sprouts and pimento cheese balls for appetizer and it was delicious! I was too full for dinner but ordered the bread pudding which was fantastic! The bread pudding comes with chocolate mousse that I thought was a peanut butter cup so didn't eat it. Make sure you eat it with the bread pudding. Also our server Booker was awesome!! Mus

Really glad to try something new in Alpharetta. Comfortable, clean atmosphere and cool design touches. Ate outside on patio. Extensive beer menu and mixed drinks were delicious. Had the short rib peppers , shishito peppers, burger with duck fat fries and the scallops. Short rib peppers were phenomenal, delicious meat in juicy peppers, wonderful.
