For sure will be back!!! I was very pleased with the food, service, and ambiance! Our server was Brandon- soooo sweet kind and professional. Food- we started with the fried pimento cheese balls- wow to die for, the red sauce made it delicious. I had the scallop ($34 market price yesterday) and they were jumbo and tasty! I loved the garnishments that came with it. My friend had the angus aged with 2 scallops- WOW AMAZING!! This is what I'll get next time. The meat was tender and no words cover the taste and flavor it had... read more

MaryAnne, Thank you for coming in and for taking time to leave us a review! Brandon is one of our new team members and I love to hear that he is already creating rapport with our guest. Those pimento fritters are sinfully delicious! I love the slight kick they have to them. We look forward to you coming back and enjoying your strip steak and scallops! That's definitely a winning combo! Cheers, -Erica Renfro
We arrived at 2 pm for lunch so the place was not crowded. We offered to leave because we didn't want the staff to feel rushed as they closed the kitchen at 2:30. But they insisted we stay. Drinks were good. Service was good. Food, not so much. Had a hamburger which was way too complicated and, as a result, just not satisfying. I usually think that if a restaurant can't make a decent burger, everything else will be lacking. It came with "duck" fries which wersupposed to be different but weren't. Potatoes that were, I think, ... read more

Hi Mik, First, I appreciate your awareness of our hours! That was thoughtful. I do hate that you didn't enjoy your burger or fries; that is one of our most popular entrees! I understand sometimes it just isn't your cup of tea, and that's okay! I would love to invite you back to try some of our other items - as we are seasonal so we switch up the menu frequently. I've said it before and I'll say it again, we appreciate all our patrons, no matter if they join us for cocktails or if they have a 5 course meal! Hope to have you... read more
Finally tried Citizen Soul. The food, portions, cocktails and service were outstanding. Can't wait to go back! I had a burrata appetizer, pan-seared scallops, and the mezcal. So good.
Business response:
Hey Jennifer, Thank you for the review! We look forward to having you back. Hope to have you out next weekend for the Wire and Wood Singer/Song Writer Festival; We will have a stage right behind our patio! Cheers, -Erica Renfro
I had high expectations for Citizen Soul, but was let down. The food was nothing special, especially for the price. The portion of my food was small. There are many other similar restaurants in the area that just have that little extra something. Service was very good and the building is nice.
Business response:
Hey Kat, Thank you for coming in! Just to let you know, we do offer seasonal menus so it's very possible the next one may have more items that suit your fancy! I hope you come back and enjoy all the things we have to offer. We look forward to only continuing to improve. Cheers, -Erica Renfro
Great service for +20 person work dinner. Event Planner, Lindsey, had the event well organized. Good food, service and drinks.
Good service, good appetizers especially the flat bread, Brussels sprouts and the sensational field pimento cheese balls. The ahi tuna appetizer was good but not worth $17.. The dinners were good but I would stick to the appetizers next time.
Business response:
Thank you for coming in and taking time to review. Those pimento cheese fritters are definitely a game changer! Hope to see you again soon. Cheers!
What a nice eve to sit outside and enjoy a new restaurant. Citizen Soul has been on our list and tonight was the night. We started with the lobster won ton; they were delicious. The lobster dip on the won ton was so light and flavorful. My wife had the pork tenderloins and I had the braised rib; wonderful dishes. Both were fork tender. The mule I had as my drink was da bomb. And to top it off, a gluten free chocolate cake. We will be back.
Business response:
Nice! Thank you for taking time to leave us some love. We look forward to having you all back soon. Cheers, -Erica Renfro
Excellent! Must try the Blue Crab Toast, Fried Okra and Burrata coupled with a Citizen Mule!
Business response:
Thanks for the review! We love having you visit us. :) That blue crab toast is top of my favorites list! See you again soon, Bradley. Cheers, -Erica Renfro
Came here as a birthday celebration a few days ago. Had such a fun time! They have a great drink selection with lots of local beers on tap, wines and delicious cocktails. Our waiter was very friendly, helpful and engaging! He was very attentive. The charcuterie board was fabulous. We also got the burrata (a little smaller than we hoped). A nice place to have a drink and appetizers with friends and family!
Business response:
Thanks for celebrating with us! I love getting to ensure a good time for special occasions. And I'm not sure there could ever be enough burrata! Thanks again for coming in taking time to leave us a review. :)
