UPDATE: After I left my review they did eventually get back to me and refund me for the stay. They also offered to replace the ruined dog bed but despite several emails and follow ups they have ignored us on that front. The only time this place responds if when you reveal their terrible customer service online. Seriously, this place is a mess.

Do NOT board your dogs here, especially if they are on any medication!! We boarded our pup here over the holidays, and came back to a complete disaster. Our dog is on medication, which we made clear when dropping him off, and they did not give him the medication during the duration of his stay. I counted the pills AND they admitted to me in their records that it had not been recorded correctly which is why it was not administered. Beware of boarding your dog here!! I boarded my dog here as a last resort as I needed to travel last minute. When I picked my dog up, he couldn't walk. He was so injured during play he was unable to walk from the facility to the car. I needed to carry him to go outside for the bathroom the next day. Additionally, I sent him with antibiotic medications for an infection and they never administered his MEDICATION. This resulted in further infection as well as an additional vet visit. Customer for many years, and multiple dogs. I don't recall entirely but I should think maybe 12 -15 years or so. For 3 years or so, I daycare 3 days a week in addition to the stays until about a year and a half ago or so, due to working from home. I was telling myself I should start again a day or two a week, so he can play while I work. Won't be coming back here. I booked an online grooming appointment and got an email confirmation for 8:30 AM. I showed up and was told that the groomer wasn't in that day. They knew that I had scheduled an appointment but rather than calling or email me to explain the mix-up they just waited until I drove over there to inform me. The person behind the counter didn't seem to know the groomer's schedule or how to read the scheduling book. If they'd let me know ahead of time, I would've understood and tried them again. Every time my dog stays her he comes back lame. Will not ever return. 3 times with shoulder injury, last time kennel cough that has progressed into pneumonia. 1 out of 10 stars will not return and will tell everyone I know. Not to trust this facility with your fur babies.

My dog is dead. It took my other two dogs 2 and 5 weeks to recover from the negligence they experienced while under City Bark's care. The staff didn't medicate our three dogs the majority of the time of their 5 day visit. One was left in her kennel dying alone. I didn't receive a phone call to alert me that she was not doing well. Upon our return we took her immediately to the emergency room but it was too late. My heart is broken and all they can offer is a refund and shitty promise they're working on it.

Awful communication, and my pet never even stayed with them. I requested a reservation for boarding my cat for the holidays, months in advance. It turned out that a friend could watch my cat, so I went to cancel my reservation. Their representative told me that I never had a reservation, even though I received an email that said "you're all set!" from them after submitting my reservation request. I wish I was posting a glowing review because that was my initial experience with this City Bark location. For the past two years this place has gone down hill and it is honestly quite sad. Most recently I dropped my dog off for a week long stay and am questioning ever going back there. I requested the Gold package ($30 a day) which according to their website is a full day of daycare, a special treat, extra potty walk, and a daily photo update.
