Clear Choice = Bad Choice There is definitely something wrong with the way Clear Choice Dental implant San Jose office is run. This is a "get all the money up front" business that once paid, makes excuses, reschedules, delays and at every stage leaves you hanging. Slick sales staff makes it all seem so professional but once the service and product is paid for (that's how they operate, everything paid in advance) all procedures are delayed and rescheduled, sometimes months later than promised. They did a fine job on my implants at the San Jose office but BE AWARE they are no longer booking ANY cleaning appointments. It has been well over a year since I have been able to get a cleaning. Having implants, I don't have a dentist and am at a loss as to where to find someone qualified to remove and clean my implants. Clear Choice continues to advertise for new implant clients but don't take care of those they have!

WARNING: NOT RECOMMENDED. My son paid $54,000 a year ago and still does not have his permantent teeth. They make excuse after excuse, set appointments then cancel them. They were too incompetant to do the surgery correctly and now tell him he needs more surgery to remove a root they left in and claim they can't do the permanent teeth until then. I went there today and talk with Dr. GRACIELA SHIMIZU and her assistant to do a few implant and pull up one of my teet that was broke and has infection which is really bother me , It's a lot of pain !!! The San Jose office is the worse service I have ever had all my appointment were reschedule and some were done on the day I was schedule to come in, I called to reschedule 1 appointment due to a conflict with work which I was going to be out of town and no way to make the appointment and they made it sound like it was the end of the world. They had to add an implant that they should have done the first time think they could get away with 1 less implant for my bridge which delays me from getting my permanent bridge 4 to 6 mon... read more

clear choice charged me $1000 for an appt i canceled..said if you gave them your card and signed then money is theirs..you do not have to be given any services..just never give them your credit card...they will rip you off..called twice to dispute and was hung up on both times..

Well it's been a year since I paid LOTS of money for my implants and I'm still minimally 2 months away from getting permanent set. Lab has made errors twice, meaning I had to wait 6-weeks each time for the repair due to lab backlog. IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA TO HAVE EVERYTHING DONE IN ONE LOCATION. I'm at the mercy of this poor quality lab. What if this place goes out of business? Patients are required to pay all fees up front, so you'd be out of luck. I was first seen on 8-1-2019. I came back on 8-8-2019 for impressions and to give them my deposit of $600.00. Was told by Dr Oliva that I needed a Medical clearance first then the surgery would be scheduled. I informed everyone at Clear Choice that I was leaving for Bellingham WA for a month and when I get back I would schedule an appointment with my PCP at Kaiser. Oh, the impression and promises made. This Clear Choice office is a LET DOWN. Funny how once they have your $45K in their pockets, the story changes. ALL DURING the process they stress how IMPORTANT it is to follow through with 6 month cleanings. Then, their rescheduling and cancelling makes this impossible. How can an office that has God knows how many patients coming through this office NOT have a hygienist???? What a stupid excuse. There are hygienists everywhere!
