Yes, I know this is a pediatrician's office and I am 50 years old. So how could I possibly right a review that is relevant? Well, challenge accepted. I first came here last summer with my friend and her two year old (then foster) daughter. The final adoption papers were being signed and they finally had the legal right to get her ears pierced. I would strongly recommend avoiding this office. I scheduled my appointment over a month ago, and on the day of the appointment they called asking for my insurance information, even though I tried to provide it when I originally made the appointment. The front office staff was consistently rude, unprofessional, and seemed unwilling to help. been taking my kids here for 13 years but i think it's time to find a new drs office for them.
Welp! I think we can all agree that searching for doctors can be daunting in itself. With the many searches, recommendations, reviews etc it's draining. Add to that, a move from Los Angeles, many years, and many specialists for our lil boy at children hospitals later and our son being on the spectrum. . Do not go here!!! I had to switch pediatricians due to insurance and it was my first time here and I saw Dr. Lavadia. She was very rude, did not interact or talk with my baby, interrupted me when i was expressing my concerns with my daughter's dairy allergy. She then continued to push formula on me after i've been exclusively breastfeeding for 7 months. Due to my daughter's dairy allergy she suggested I put her on formula or cut out dairy from my diet. I have been going here for four years with my two boys and after today's visit, I am going to change pediatricians. I show up for them to tell me I didn't have appointment & they were able to get me in. But that was not the breaking point for me. It was a new staff member that they have a male that takes you back to your room was very rude in a rush kept dropping everything even dropped my son's binky on the floor after he threw his clothes to the side of the patient bed. The front office staff is rude, impatient and condescending. There seems to be a divide amongst MDs and NPs/PAs as they seem to only have negative things to say about each other. I've seen multiple providers for wellness visits for my daughter and weight checks, which could've been avoided. I told one of the NPs I wanted to exclusively breastfeed and she advised that I stop supplementing for 2 weeks and wait to do a weight check then, which I obviously did not wait that long to do because I knew my daughter would lose weight... read more

This review is a bit delayed. We went ahead and moved on from this practice and don't regret it. Things started off fine, we really liked Dr. Bustamante but rarely saw him. Which we understood, he gets busy. However, we had a number of really negative experiences with this office. In 2016 we had our second son, and Julie, one of the NPs working there, was concerned about my son not gaining weight after birth.
