I absolutely love the care my children receive here. Dr. Berruecos and Dr. Rachel are both amazing. They are attentive and always make sure that my kids (and I) feel comfortable. I truly recommend them!
We highly recommend Southwest pediatrics. It was a little tough when they got bought out, but the quality of care is great and all of the doctors really take their time with our little boy. I love how this office has a well side and a sick side.
Very good quality care for my newborn. Prompt responses and appointments were easy to obtain. I needed a same day visit and they got me on the books within the hour. The facility is clean and so far drs have been very helpful and answer my many questions as a first time mom. I was able to get my newborn seen to receive his rsv antibodies and another visit to deal with tummy issues. Both times I left satisfied with the care received.
Very friendly stuff. Dr sha is a great pediatrician we know him for over 13 years. Nice and clean office.

I have been taking my daughter to SW Pediatrics since she was born about 6 months ago now. I just wanted to wait to visit a few times before I came on here and made a review so I could have the full experience. We see Dr Shah and also Kat who is a nurse practitioner there. I have been so pleased with the scheduling, wait times, and availability so far at every appointment. Southwest pediatrics doctors and nurses have seen all four of my boys and they have been great. Very efficient and quick. Dr. Shah and Dr. Santiago are both excellent and my kids like them, too. They still remember Dr. Shah prescription after seeing one of my sons was under weight - eat more ice cream! And we've been following that, too. One time we took our son into the office to get a potential broken arm checked. After they confirmed he needed a cast I asked where I should take him. The Best Pediatrics office in Bakersfield! New to the practice and since day one, we have been treated like family. I love the receptionist Jayme, she is so kind and makes me feel welcomed every visit and remembers my name every time. Back office is so gentle, friendly and most of all patient. I've seen almost all the providers and they have all been beyond my expectations. This is definitely by far the best office.
The staff and doctors at SW Pediatrics are unparalleled. They are prompt, kind and gentle. Doctors appointments aren't always easy for little ones, but the pediatricians at Southwest are some of the best in town!
