Called for an appointment asked if i could get there by 2:30 I said that was only 30 minutes to get there told them could be there in 45 they said greatI got there in 40 and guess what i waited 2 hours still was not seen so Cancelled the appt after receptionist told probable another 45 minutes wait. This is a cattle call an less interested in seeing patients that making the all mighty dollar they appear to book patients for the same time slots and are the welfare provider for the area just saying. We have used Southwest pediatrics since my son was born. Last week, I didn't agree with a doctor and took James for a second opinion. I was validated because the second doctor agreed with me. I signed a release of records so that the other pediatrician could have James' whole file to treat him better. SWP called me tonight to tell me if I allow them to send his file he is never allowed back. Really?!? BYE! #whodoyouthinkyouare

This has got to be the worst office I've ever been too! My daughter had an appointment at 4pm we got there at about 4:08 pm because it was our first time there and I couldn't find the office. We waited an hour and 20 minutes and still had not seen the doctor. According to other parents there waiting as well it is very common to wait well over an hour before you are seen. I never review but I just had to warn any potential new patients. Their intake process is ridiculous. We just moved here so we didn't have a pediatric dr yet. My son got sick so I called to make an appointment. The front desk informed me that I had to go online and print out 17 pages of a new patient packet, make a copy of all his immunizations, then bring them into the office where I would have to drop them off and then go home and wait for them to call me for an appointment. Wow!!! After our daughter was rushed from our home in an ambulance we followed up with our Doctor here at SWP (We have had all 5 of our kids here for almost 5 years now). Our daughter is mentally challenged and can't talk. She is 14 by the way. There was legitimate concern that someone may have giving her an illegal drug at school so we had her tested. Save yourself the trouble and find a new doctor. The doctor we saw there was snitty, shallow, and unforgivably incompetent. Wait times are insanely long (don't bother scheduling an appointment around your baby's nap or eating schedule because you will be there so long it doesn't matter). She wrote two medications with the wrong dosages for my children (a very scary situation). She also dumps patients whenever she feels like it regardless of how long your children have been with her, leaving you with less than 24 hours no... read more

I use to love this office until they got super busy. The wait time has gradually increased through out the years. Also, if you do not follow the CDC vaccine schedule they will discharge you from their practice.

My daughter was bit by a spider and called me at school to pick her up because her throat was closing and she couldn't breathe not a lot of other doctors took my insurance so I went here, and I told them her symptoms and STILL WAITED 2 AND A HALF HOURS TO BE SEEN. When she was seen, they asked about her allergy medicine. The doctor didn't even look at her bite. The WORST doctor I have ever been to. Disappointment. After waiting 45 minutes to be seen, I asked reception how much longer I should expect. "20-40 minutes, Dr is running a hour behind today" ummm, what?! How was I not called prior to showing up with a 12 month old? Or even told upon arrival? Needing to get my husband to the airport, I had to leave and reschedule. Unfortunately lengthy wait times are typical here. I like the doctors and techs- but the office is run really inefficiently.
