Took way too long. I think it had to be over 2 months from beginning to end. And I’m still not clear on why?

Things were pretty busy with COVID so I understand that. Communication just wasn't great and underwriting took way too long moving things through. Ended up having to make an extra mortgage payment on our previous mortgage and missed out on one of the months we wouldn't have had a payment if things would have moved through as planned. All in all we got a good deal/upgrade from our previous mortgage so no complaints there.

I was told by Cody the Friday before my Monday close that all the numbers were finalized for my loan. When I arrived at closing Monday the numbers had changed and I was asked at the closing table for an additional $170 appx. This is after I was told that the numbers were finalized and would not change on Friday. I had to call his boss to get the situation sort of resolved. My mortgage cost went up but his company did cover the extra 170. Cody told me he couldn't help with the last second change.
