I have some Shaw Antiquities area rugs that were discontinued when Shaw went out of the carpet business about 3 years ago. I LOVE these rugs and have searched the internet for some new old stock rugs with no luck. I was told by a friend that COIT had done her area rugs and she seemed pleased, so I called them. I am very dissatisfied with Coit. The 2 men who came to my house did not honor the estimate I was given on the phone. They also couldn't tell me how they came up with the amount they charged. They said bad things about Stanley Steamer cleaners, one stating he used to work there and he should know. They left spots on the carpet that weren't there when they came. I had a terrible experience with Coit, and judging by the reviews from other cities, this should have been expected. I was lied to about the product/service that I purchased. It did not work as promised (grout cleaning and color seal) and when I called to ask for them to clean I was spoken to very rudely and was told that they would fix it if I paid. Oh well. Lesson learned, sales guys lie and make sure you make them put everything in writing. Oh and look forward to an endless amount of sales calls after you get work do... read more
