I can’t believe this app is 4.7 stars. There are so many detailed 1 and 2 stars ratings. Those that are high are just short review blurbs, which makes them seem to be fake or paid reviews. One of the features of an HSA is the investment component. The investment component of the app does not have any basic investment functions, I.e., no daily, quarterly, YTD, yearly trending data or charts. There’s no position data. Can't remember logins. Garbage.
Optum seemed to forget HSA has an investment component. The investment functionality is like an after thought. It’s limited to buying and selling of funds. There’s no basic investment information like daily and total gains/loss, historical trends, positions, etc. The elementary functions that it does have are slow. E.g., from the menu, tap on Investment, then… wait, and wait, and wait. I don’t recall seeing any app, ever, that clocks as much as this one. Their website just not work, you have to like try 20 times to be able to login once, and the ux design is terrible, it confuses so much , you have to “sold” of you want transfer cash from investment account to Hsa account. And the balance takes several days to reconcile with both sides. The app is also a joke, never able to login.
Premera is bad enough with their incompetency. Put this app into the mix and it’s a frustrating experience even more. The app used to allow uploads for documentation. Now, you upload something, it appears that it’s set. Then you get the notice from your insurance that they need it. You go back in to the app and this GARBAGE APP shows NO DOCUMENTATION. Amateurs run this show.
Very bad all over, your app does not work, your operators do not know what they are talking about, your wait time to talk to some one is too long, when you finally talk to someone , they ask many questions and then ask you to wait, then again wait wait , and nothing happens. Your app stops working . Some one (Daniel) told me to delete the app and get a new version, I shall try and report
Update, it has only gotten worse. Now they don’t even tell you when documents are required for a claim, they are just expecting you to keep checking as if you have nothing better to do in life. I’ve been through everything I can try to get this app to work and it won’t run on my iPhone 12 Pro. Reinstalled the app. Phone is fully updated. Restarted phone. All to no avail. This app is broken.
Not easy to navigate. The company doesn’t pay bills to a children’s hospital. I’ve called today and been hung up on twice! I’m now on hold for over 20 minutes! Worst company ever!!
