Johnny at Core Mortage provided the absolute best mortage experience we've ever had. We've owned 3 houses and have refinanced a few times, so we are no strangers to the process. This was the easiest one ever! We were kept informed and put as ease about the process at every step. Of course, we also got a great rate. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Core Mortage to our friends and family.

Johnny was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. He is prompt, knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to finish the process smoothly. We would ask him a question and we would get a reply back from him in less than 10 mins. Our closing was SO smooth thanks to him. I would definitely recommend Johnny.

After having a horrible experience trying to refinance with another company, wasting 3 months of my life and getting nowhere, I called Johnny Mateo. Best move I could have made!! Johnny made it a great experience for me. He is very professional, courteous, AND has a great sense of humor. I highly recommend Johnny and his team!!!

I began investigating the possibility of refinancing our mortgage via an on-line site. What a mistake!! When I say I was contacted almost immediately by vultures I am not exaggerating! High pressure scare tactics ("you have to commit with us NOW to get this rate" -- "the mortgage market is in a shaky period right now") I was feeling very uncomfortable and wondering if anyone was telling me the truth. I have worked with Johnny twice, once for a refinance and most recently on a new mortgage for a new home. He has been great both times. He always finds a way to get the deal done at the best possible rate and lowest cost. He is very responsive to email and general questions which is a huge plus to me. He was recommended to me initially and I have since recommended him to others and I still do.

Johnny was great. He always got right back to us when we needed anything from a pre approval letter to answering our multiple questions as first time home buyers and attending our closing on a house at 6 am. He was friendly and went above and beyond for us.
