Mr. Mateo was "Johnny-on-the-spot" for us when we had a quick turn around from purchase to closing, around 5 weeks. He was quite responsive, and guided us through a difficult loan process that required repeated efforts to satisfy the underwriter. He was patient with us when we did not understand the requirements of the loan process. He helped bring us to closing in the time frame required.
Johnny was very helpful and worked very hard to get my mortgage through when other banks would not even talk to me. He is very professional and communicated well with me on what I needed to do. As a first time home buyer I was completely in the dark about this whole process and pretty anxious. Johnny continually assured me that it was his job to stress about stuff and he would take care of everything. That is exactly what he did. All I had to do was hand in some documents when he asked for them. He is honest, he has answers and he wants to make things easy for the home buyer. I would never let any of my friends or family go to anyone else but Johnny Mateo!
We had a difficult and stressful loan process as a creditor was reporting mis information on my credit report. Johnny took us through every step of the loan process and when we found our dream home despite the fact that the mis information was removed just over two weeks before our closing date he fought for us to get our loan approval on time and on the closing table just in time for us to be in our dream home for Christmas!
