In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. We were there Tuesday morning. Our server was very friendly. The food was delicious. We had to ask for our second cup of coffee but the server was so pleasant we didn't mind (and she brought it immediiately). We will return again. Thank you.
Good food good environment but the service or least the lady that was serving us not so good
Wait staff was very courteous and helpful when there was a problem with my food they went above and beyond to make sure that it was to my liking. Will definitely come back again

We enjoy every time we go to the restaurant, the chicken fried steak was my husband favorite and my slow cook pot roast was awesome, especially the corn bread!

We were greeted and seated quickly. Our orders were normal wait time. Food was delicious. We did ask for one more item and had to remind the waitress because it wasn't brought out, but still got it wrong. Overall it was priced great and good food.
Our second visit, food fabulous, excellent service...
