I just dined there tonight I ordered the pot roast , my daughter had her favorite chicken fried steak her usual but had pancakes instead. They were amazing! Our server Becky was amazing she was very attentive and the food came out perfect. We always end up ordering the same thing because it's so good. But I wanted to give a big shout out to our server she was amazing in every way. It made us want to continue coming back!
Excellent Big Bear Breakfast for a cold and hungry traveler to the eclipse. Staff were also accommodating and personable. Access to charge electronics was also most welcome.
If you are looking for a diner with good sized portions, amazing food, and amazing service then this is the place!

Black Bear Diner is an awesome place to dine. I go there about 3 times a week! The food and atmosphere are excellent as well as the service. Kelly is my favorite server there! He is awesome! He takes care of my needs when I am there and makes me feel like a valued customer! He is always so upbeat and positive! The other servers do a good job as well! This was the first time my family and I have been here. Kelly served us and did a fabulous job!! Even my youngest said he liked Kelly (which is high praise from him!!)! Kelly was very attentive, made great suggestions, engaged all of us in conversation and took great care of us I felt. The food was good, the cornbread absolutely yummy, the salmon very good and the chicken fried steak excellent. We had a great experience tonight, thank you!!

I don't recommend you go if you are in a hurry. However the food is so good that you won't have room for desert. Casey is a fantastic server and when we go back we will definitely ask to be sat in her area.
