In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. I tried this place for the first time at lunch with my hubby. It was a great experience. Nice & clean, fast service and the food were great. We had slow cooked pot roast beef and a grilled chicken pesto pasta from the dinner menu. Oh and their complimentary corn bread is sooooooo good too. Thanks to our server Jessica for making our lunch and experience at Black Bear Diner an awesome one. I will recommend this place to all my friends and will definitely going back there to try their other food from the menu.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Great food in abundance amount! Our waiter, Earnest, was over & beyond!! My grand really enjoyed the chocolate milk shake!🐾

We went for the first time today and the food was good. But our waitress Mercedes made our first time awesome! She was all smiles and very helpful! There was nothing that we asked for that she didn't make happen! I can not say it enough that Merceded is AWESOME!

had breakfast with my wife today, and let me tell you. it was on point had amazing service by Miss Melody and our chef Marcos man the food was on lock. you can tell when the person making your food enjoys what he dose just tastes better. hands down best dining experience I've had yet to date at the bear.
Our server Earnest was amazing and the food was delicious! Order the light portion unless you’re REALLY hungry!!!
