In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. I believe I found a place that serves a better breakfast than Cracker Barrel, Denny’s, IHOP and any other national chain restaurant!! The portions were huge and food was awesome!! My daughter and son-in-law took me the Logan, Utah Providence location. My grandkids call me Papa Bear so we will definitely be back the next time I am in Logan!
I always enjoy eating here. The servers are always really polite and sociable. There are several different salads that I like. The chicken fried steak is great(breakfast or dinner). My friends & I come in late a lot. But the staff never complains.
Just had Easter Dinner. We both had Prime Rib, mine medium well and hubby's rare. both perfect!!! best we've had so far. Excellent service by our server Heather. North Little Rock, AR
