Been going there for 8 years. Something has changed a lot. Prices through the roof and constantly being pushed to buy an expensive yearly program that pays next to nothing during the year. It's more about money now over their past real concern for our dogs.
I really wanted to like this vet. The first time we visited for well checkups, we loved them! Then a year later our Pom got sick after hours. We took her to the emergency vet. When we spoke to the Dr there, she was stable & they felt our vet could do further tests, since our pup didn't appear to be in danger. I called Countryside first thing the next morning. I asked for the soonest we could get our sick dog in. After explaining our situation, the reply I got when I asked for an appointment was "we can get you in next Wednes... read more
Hate to leave this review because the vet was extremely friendly. However....she simply wasn't thorough. Dr Ciminello saw our pup for a skin condition. Puss filled lumps all over. She was informed the dog had been to another vet for the same issue months ago and put on Cephlaxin. We ended up leaving with the exact same prognosis and prescription. The issue we had was considering there were bleeding areas all over the dogs body, why she didn't shave the areas to get a good look at them. She did nothing more put squeeze some... read more
The vet techs were great and seemed to know a lot more than the vet. I'm not sure if it's a new vet but the experiences we've had have been awful. We took our kitten in and the vet couldn't tell if he was a boy or a girl (no biggie, but a little weird). The vet also told us he was 8 weeks when we was way younger and still did not give him any vaccines. THEN she diagnosed him with ringworm and gave the wrong instructions on how to treat it! She told us to give him the medicine once every week (which I thought was strange give... read more
I came here due to the rave reviews on here. However, I left them not only because of their pricing being so high, but also a negative experience with the vet. First the cost, they initially took me in and handed me their PAWs plan. I am learning these sort of plans aren't that unusual for vets. It seemed to only make sense to get it, but I lacked experience as these two little kittens I have are my first pets. Their plan listed what ordinary pricing would be then at the end what it was with the plan. So for the compr... read more
If i could give o star, i would. They only care about the money.... i brought my 2 dogs at this location after they had swollen ibuprofen. The vet was very cold about it and basically told me and my husband that if we didn't spend 5000 dollars in exams and treatments " the dogs will die" that was her exact words... we did not have this amount of money and opted to transfer our dogs to another vet. The vet and her assistant became even more rude, raising their voices at us and telling us our dogs will die for sure. Long story... read more
I've given two stars because this is a nice place. Clean, staff seems competent and it seems to be well run. The problem is the predatory pricing. A checkup visit is a reasonable $65. But once they find a problem with your pet they really take advantage knowing that you're not going to say no to anything that might help your beloved pet. My sick cat required a simple blood test to ascertain if he might have HIV or Leukemia. $300!!! That's 3 times what I pay for a human blood test. Then a chest X-ray. $241!! My dentist ... read more
The people are friendly but they are rigid in their treatment options and charge an excessive amount for their exam fees. Because of the "take it or leave" attitude with treatment options, I will NOT be returning here. Also are aggressive with recommendations for unnecessary vaccines.
Really friendly but make sure to stay on top of everything funny how they never give calls to set up appointments for payments being made never reached out to me 1 times after I left the first visit and have been charge coming up on 3 times now! And still going to have to pay to cancel.
