Hubs brought our dog Remy in she is a 4 month old Pup. Took her in due to some vomiting and loose stool a few days. Well needless to say she was fine. Most recently at 5 months she was having some eye discharge so they got us in the next day after I called which I was happy about. Countryside has been the most amazing and trustworthy Vet I've ever been too! From the front desk staff to the Doctors, everyone really and truly cares about your animal's health and well-being! my wife's cat was at end of life. we were quoted 200 bucks from the countrywide animal hospital of Tempe. that seemed typical from all the other places we called, so we brought the cat there. we were asked if we wanted the cat cremated and we said no just disposed of the remaining. After the procedure, which they made us hold the cat down while they did their thing, they "added" another 200 dollar cremation charge. i was told either pay the charge or take a dead cat home with us. these scumbags pulled this while we were grie... read more

I have been going to Countryside Animal hospital for the better part of 20 years. If there was a category of minus a start I would have selected it. I felt compelled to write this review after my last two visits. The excessive cost paying $200 for a 30-minute visit for an eye exam and eye drops is to me is outrageous. This is a hard one for me to write because for years they were solid. Some minor issues, but what practice doesn't? However after Dr. Hoppe left, this place became a nightmare. I'd be a client for 5+ years with multiple dogs aka had spent tens of thousands with them, and I was treated with distain over THEIR mistakes that I have moved to a different vet. I believe there is good and a light in all individuals. I do believe that individuals decide to go against what they know is right for various reasons causing and internal conflict where one is not in alignment of their ethical and moral regard and choose actions that are opposite of that. I absolutely do not recommend this veterinarian. I previously attended this Animal Hospital pre-pandemic and had absolutely terrible service with one of the veterinarians post pandemic. I decided to give them a second chance because I had a friend who took their pets there. I signed up for a plan, the veterinarian told me that my pets liver enzymes were too elevated and advised against doing a dental cleaning. Please be very careful when taking your dogs here! 2 years ago our little dog had dental work done here. She did have extraction. A day or two after dental work she started to throw up blood. Vet said it wasn't anything to do with the procedure but was the medication they sent her home with. This past Monday we took her to get a routine shot and heartworm/tick test.
