They try to upsell every time they come out. They tried to tell us we needed a new unit even though the current one wasn’t even 5 years old. Then tried to sell us a capacitor saying we needed a new one because the amps were too highs, except it was reading 1.1 which is what the unit says it should read……never again

I had my normal A/C company came and inspected what your technician Javier did and said we were drastically overcharged by Cowboys. The compressor booster and other worked that cowboys did and charged 804 dollars should have only cost me 285 dollars. This would be the exact same brand and exact same work installed. Sad that you all are taking advantage of people. I have the affidavit and price quote from my AC company. Sad that my normal company couldn’t come out until today, but glad they shed the light that you all serious... read more

I got a call yesterday regarding the advertised 29.95 A/C tuneup. The lady said that it would include a disinfectant sanitizing solution throughout the unit. I had the initial tuneup done a week ago and wondered why I was getting a 2nd call. She said the records had been lost. I told her I already had the tuneup a week ago but no one mentioned the disinfectant solution. She said maybe that was recently added to the special??? But she would call me back to see if I would get it. I’m still waiting for the call 🤔.

Dishonest company. Do not hire or even call lest you want to be repeatedly spammed by them. They came out to perform an “inspection” of my AC/Furnace system and surreptitiously disconnected components so that I would think they were broken and needed replacement. They then quoted me over $13k for a new system. I had a friend of a friend who is a retired commercial AC technician come out and reconnect the disabled components and assure me everything else looked fine. That was three years ago. And the same system Cowboys A... read more

The worst. I had them come give me an estimate on installing a new hvac system. They would never give me an estimate which is fine, except they now call me weekly saying they need to come to scheduled service. I have asked them to take me off their call list 6 times. Very very poorly managed company. Don’t waste your time.

Business response:

Fist off the sales men told us 15 seer, and save 460 from CPS, they brought wrong unit, so no rebate , then my drain pan got clogged , messed up my ceilings, it’s been a month , and their drywall guy is just as bad as the company, horrible work, all amateurs,

To start with, when you are schedule to do preventive maintenance or come out for a repair, show up for the appt. If you can't do that, then you need to be out of business. We called at 9PM on Saturday night for our AC not cooling. We were told a technician would call between 9am and 12pm with a call approximately 30 minutes before arrival. It is after 12pm and we just got a call that the technician was "finishing up install ing parts on another call and that we were his next call". We had called to see where the techni... read more

Are you kidding? We had a technician come out today and he told us the coil needed replaced on a unit that is only 4 years old. This would have cost is over $1500. We got a 2nd opinion and were told the 2 pole contactor needed replaced . The cost? Under $300. That saved us over $1200. Come on Cowboys...

Before I had my new system put in I had Cowboys come out for an inspection if my older unit. While they were here I ask when they could come back and clean the unit and was told they would do it while they were here. The unit wasn’t taken apart to clean it, instead they sprayed something on the coils and it ran down jnto the electric panel on my hot water heater. After they left, I smelt something burning and went up stairs and there were flames coming out if the panel I went through hell getting them to replace the hot ... read more
