Every Volvo car comes designed to be among the best cars on the road. Many competitors try to play up their 'race-inspired' performance, ignoring the existence of speed limits. Many European car companies try to promote style over substance. Volvo cars are modest and straightforward: they are safe, comfortable and smooth.

Like other posters who bought his when it was in Richardson -- I think the service and accessibility have gone way down since they moved to Frisco. I am about to stop going to a Volvo dealer completely and find another avenue for car repairs. I wait really long there just to be told what is wrong with my car. Even minor repairs require half of your morning. So, think I am about done with Volvo of Dallas.
Bought a car from them when they used to be VOLVO OF RICHARDSON on 75 and Arapaho. Had a pleasant sales experience back in 2004. Since they moved and merged and whatever to become VOLVO OF DALLAS, things have surely changed. Our loyalty towards their service center gradually went down hill as things were changing in the "down the hill" direction. At last, we gave up on them, and now drive a good 25 miles extra to go to another dealer's service center. Since then, we have been receiving Free Oil Change coupons etceteras fr... read more
I agree 100 percent with what everyone has said. DO NOT go there. They are pushy, and all about closing "a deal" rather than finding the right deal for you. They will do anything to get you to sign a committment and openly said that we couldn't leave. We did; I went elsewhere to another Volvo dealership and found the right deal for me.
I have to agree with the previous two reviews that this place is a waste of time and miserable experience. My wife and I had been looking around for quite some time for a 'new to us' car and found one we were interested in at Volvo of Dallas. We drove up to the place, looked at the car, and were offered to be able to take it for a test drive. While out on the test drive, my wife and I were asking questions about the car we were interested in buying, and the salesman kept trying to tell us that the car fax report was wrong... read more
What a miserable experience! You know how you get that icky used car salesman or gross Al Bundy feeling? Well, that's Volvo of Dallas. When you walk into the building or onto the lot someone greets (haggles) you. Hey that part wasn't so bad, I mean you are car shopping. That comes with the territory. We were ready to buy, had done our homework and visited several dealerships. We came there for a specific car and price, which was advertised online. First off...the sales guys will say anything they can to get you to sign ... read more
What a glorious waste of time! Thank you Volvo of Dallas, you proved the point that used car dealers are generally d-bags. On to the story... The wife and I internet shop -- we get to narrow down what we want and save time with the purchase process at the store. Works for clothes, electronics, cars, etc. So this is what we did when looking for a used Volvo. We found 3 that we were interested in at Volvo of Dallas. I called yesterday to inquire about a specific one. The Internet Sales Manager, "Mo", said he had it in stock.... read more
