The worst dealership experience i have ever had. I took my car to the dealer and they spent about a week checking my car. Finally they told me the engine computer needs to be replaced(quote $2400). I said i could not do it and went picking up my car. When I saw the bill I was shocked, the diagnose fee was $492. So Yelp has rating guidance now. I was going to give three stars, but that's "A-OK". Two is "Meh. I've experienced better.". And that's how I feel. The sales guys are nice enough. This review is for the Used Car Sales Dept. at Volvo of Dallas in Plano. Do not expect that just because this is a large dealership that they won't take advantage of your naiveté. I came in unprepared to purchase a used vehicles as I was only scouting for a used XC60 and came upon a C70 convertible. I took my 1997 Volvo 850 to Volvo of Dallas two weeks ago because of my check engine light was on. After them checking it out I was told that it had a blown gadget and would be 3000 to fix it and and that was with a deal. After getting the the massive amount and they gave me a rental car, I was told my car would be done the the next night by 5. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Both sales and maintenance are horrible! When purchasing my Volvo I was bullied into taking a loaner and letting them keep my car. It came with an offer that was several thousand dollars above the value of the car (they left the window sticker in the backseat.) NEVER GO HERE!!!!!!!! Like many others I wish I could give a ZERO stars rating. I bought my car over a year and a half ago and the car is fine but their customer service, communication, follow through and professionalism are 100% lacking. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! Three days after purchasing my vehicle I contacted the dealership and told them I wanted to cancel my warranty, to which they responded via text "Bring the car back or we will report it stolen". This was a huge strike one. I then contacted the sales manager who said via email that " the bank that financed the loan REQUIRES you to keep the warranty for 90 days".
