I'm very disappointed to see that the review I wrote on here is no longer on yelp. it makes me wonder if someone has deleted my review. I am not going to get into details of what I wrote, but all I can say is this place was not the place for my mom. They have no care for people who have type 1 diabetes and my mom struggled while she was at this facility with dangerous sugar levels and non-nutritional food. My mother had a minor stroke on January 31st, 2021 and ended up in Cypress Ridge Care Center after being transferred from the hospital. She was at the Cypress Ridge Care Center from Feb 24th to March 5th, 2021. Although the people at the facility were nice, this facility is understaffed and has too many patients to meet each patient's needs. This place was not what I had hoped for. My dad was transferred to this facility so he could get his strength back. Not only did he not received the therapy that they said they will give him, but during the time in this facility he fell twice. The second time around I decided to take him out because it was obvious that he was not receiving the care nor attention he needed. They left me on a gurney for three hours in a noisy hallway, my ears were ringing and I was very dizzy. then I gave them the benefit of the doubt although I wanted to leave right away. this place is dirty, has not passed a health inspection, and while I was there I never saw a doctor, never got medications, no physical therapy and the food was horrendous. This place is a complete joke. My father has been here for only 7 days and the care here is horrible. His toilet has been broken for five days and there was even feces water coming into his room. I had to go out of my way to find out some kind of answer on what they were doing to fix it and all I got was " we don't know". I have met ONE nurse here who is caring and capable, Andrea. This review has nothing to do with most of the CNAs/LVNs that work there. Most of them are passionate and caring people. However, there was A LOT of miscommunication between social workers/rude Physical therapists and my loved one, as well as the conditions within the rooms/equipment, and health/ issues after being discharged. With the social workers, they seem unwilling to accommodate anything; in relation to having important meetings with the physical therapists and my loved one. Disregard their fancy photoshopped self submitted pics. this facility is not only an eyesore, it's a health and environmental hazard. the care they offer is beyond substandard. My aunt was housed their between hospital stays and when I saw the conditions she was put in, I immediately demanded her transfer to a cleaner facility. My elderly father was discharged June 16, 2018 to be transferred to a nursing home in carmel. Once the papers were signed, they were supposed to shuttle him to the new facility to arrive 15-20 minutes later. He was parked and forgotten. No food, water, heart medicine, change of his undergarments. After countless calls, they realized the shuttle driver forgot and went home. A taxi was called.
