Thank god i found Dr Birk. The first surgeon I saw wanted to do extensive back surgery. When I saw Dr Birk he said I did not need that and performed a minimally invasive procedure and I was out of the hospital the same day. And the best part is my back pain is gone. Outstanding, saved my life
I cannot recommend Dr. Birk highly enough if you have neck pain. He took care my disc condition and took such good care of me, even calling me at home to check on my recovery. I didn't know there were still doctors around like Dr. Birk and I am so grateful to him!
Because of Dr.Birk I have my life back. My back pain kept me from fully enjoying my children and functioning at work. If someone recommends surgery please get a second opinion from Dr.Birk. He is unlike other Surgeons I have seen, he took time to listen to me and did not make our time feel rushed. He is a caring person and an expert surgeon.
How do you Thank a Dr. for giving you your life back? Well i don’t know but anyone living in pain.. you owe it to yourself to have a consult with Dr. Birk!!! I went to him on 3/22/19 dragging my rt leg not being able to bare weight on it or lift it at all without picking it up with my hands, bent over not being able to stand straight any longer due to failed spine surgery in such severe pain tears just rolled down my face. I started seeing Dr. Birk about a year and a half ago, after years of pain management were no longer working to deal with my cervical spine issues. From the outset, he listened to my concerns, answered my questions, and in general was (and is) one of the best doctors I have ever had. He performed a 4-level ACDF a year ago and I am doing great. Once the surgery was done, he even pushed me to lose weight and I feel even better. I cannot thank him enough for everything he's done for me.
Dr. Birk is a talented surgeon with a wonderful bedside manner.
