I don't think they make the food in the order they were placed. I came in before a bunch of people and was the last to leave. I believe they were trying to get the simple, one-item orders out and hold the order with multiple items to the last. It was not a good experience.

BEGINNING of the END: I received paper thin chicken and asked politely if Dave's is changing their chicken and how they do things. The person said this is always how their chicken has been. I asked if I can get a thicker piece of chicken because I have NEVER gotten chicken like this from Dave's ever. They said they would and then came back with a receipt for a refund and said the manager told them on the phone not to make my order. My first impression was really great-- the place was clean, staff was helpful, and the food was delicious. It was the aftermath that killed my boyfriend and I. We both got sick. I'm not talking a little tummy-ache. I'll let you imagine the rest. I would not come here again.

Basic math was lost upon them. I told them I ordered 2 Dave's bites 10 piece that had a sauce dipper in each. The supervisor told me that I only paid for it once, but I know I selected it twice and paid extra for it because it's on my receipt. I tried to show her my order, and she said "can you let me explain this to you so that you can understand" in a very snippy tone and eye rolls. First, I will say, the employees are always super nice. However, the wait is always long to get your food. Even if you order ahead, you get there and you still have to wait additional time. Then, today I go to pick up the order I placed online. I asked for the bathroom code to use the facilities. I'm told - new rule, bathrooms are only for people who are eating inside the restaurant. What the heck? You will take my money but not give me the decency to use the restroom. So ridiculous.

My first visit here was unacceptable due to severe hygiene issues and poor service. I observed staff handling trash and cleaning tables before prepping food all without washing hands or wearing gloves. To make matters worse, our order was given to other customers who handled the food before it was retrieved and handed to us. When I asked for a fresh replacement, I received cold food in the original greasy boxes, including a piece of chicken that had been torn.
