TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Dave's is by far a favorite place to eat hot chicken. The staff here at this locations is excellent, great customer service and the same quality I'm used to .

First time trying Dave's Hot Chicken, and I was very happy with the quality and freshness! I loved that they had several spice options to choose from - from "no spice" up to "very hot" - made it easy to custom-select your exact spice comfort level. The sliders were great, with pickles & slaw, and good sauce. Staff was very friendly and helpful too. Recommended!
I have been to three different locations and I can say that I had a better impression of this location than Fountain Valley. The cashier that assisted me was really nice and accommodating. I got two orders of their Dave's #1, which each consists of two tenders, fries, bread, pickles, and their sauce. First of all, their tenders are flavorful and their spice levels are on the milder side, so if you get a medium, it's as if you ordered a mild.
