Just above average chicken. Not my favorite spicy chicken in town but it's in a good location on Mass Ave. and wasn't very busy (surprisingly) during lunch. It does have one of my biggest pet peeves where the line to order cuts the restaurant in half and if you sit on the side opposite the pickup area and drink fountain, you have to awkwardly squeeze through people who are focused on their phones or the menu board. But I do like how spacious the seating areas are overall.

Everyone has their own hot chicken spot and yea something about chains blah blah blah. Dave's slaps. I get the hottest level every time and it's just good. The app reward systems has given me free stuff and it's wort the once in a while visit from me. Other hot spots charge more for higher than medium... not Dave. Dave respects you enough not to overcharge you. I also love the worry on everyone's face when I order the hottest level. We stopped by for a quick bite but the portions size turned out to be dinner. I ordered 3 tenders which were pretty huge and came with a side of coleslaw. Cashier P was super helpful and gave me a good tip on how to save money with the right combos. Looks like a newly opened branch which was swanky clean and spotless. The place was buzzing with customers and had such a good weekend vibe. Definitely would recommend for a quick bite!

fresh chicken good macaroni perfect seasonings good icy lemonade. The service was great the food took a little long but it was all worth it man I swear I'm getting some more right now

I usually do takeout when I get Dave's, and it's generally great. They've messed up a couple of my orders before, like the fries or heat level, but when they get it right, it's so good. The slider and tender with fries is super filling. You basically get two sandwiches in one meal. I love getting the Extra Hot, and I've definitely learned my lesson with the Reaper (painful in a way that's not enjoyable). The fries are always well-seasoned and never soggy, the pickles are crispy, and the sauce pairs perfectly.

I enjoyed the chicken and the building. The let down here was the service. They did tell us it would be 15-20 minutes since they drop everything fresh. It was about 35 minutes after ordering when my husband went to check on the food and it took 10 more minutes for it to come out. He noticed the staff in the kitchen eating and laughing. I believe they forgot our ticket since we saw people who ordered after us get their food before us. Once we received our food some of it was cold. Anytime I see consistent customer service replies, I feel confident that at minimum they are listening, a very good quality. Let's be honest. Good help is hard to find. People have bad days. Poo happens. Kudos to Yelp reviewers and to customer service who listen.
