TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Finally someplace in Charlotte that serves Nashville hot chicken. Having had Nashville, hot chicken and other cities I could say that Dave's is the best that I have had even though I have not been to Nashville. This is in the heart of Plaza Midwood, and has parking, I know some of y'all like it already. It's kind of pricey, but isn't everything else now? At least it's very tasty and the service is prompt. We've been in Charlotte for a couple years now but never tried Dave's Hot Chicken until now. It did NOT disappoint. The service was stellar from when we walked in the door. The food was absolutely amazing and made to order so came out hot and fresh! The chicken was perfectly breaded and it was spicy! (I ordered the hot). The fries were perfect as well and their house sauce was fantastic. Will absolutely be back again!

Always a great experience when we go to Dave's. The number 3 combo is the best way to go. Tenders are always super fresh and so are the fries. The staff at this location are super friendly and nice 10/10 would recommend
Tenders (4/5): Big pieces of chicken that were lightly breaded and full of seasoning. I wish there was a little more crunchiness, but at the same time I'm glad they weren't over breaded. The spice blend was good (I'm right in between medium and hot) and I liked the dipping sauce (pretty typical thousand island type sauce).
