Tenders (4/5): Big pieces of chicken that were lightly breaded and full of seasoning. I wish there was a little more crunchiness, but at the same time I'm glad they weren't over breaded. I lived in Nashville for 11 year's, and Dave's is some of the best hot chicken I've ever had! If you like spicy, I recommend the extra hot, because the hot was more like medium to the 3 of us who had lunch there. I would have given this a 5, but the Mac and cheese was terrible, to the point where after two bites the both of us who ordered it had to stop. It didn't look it, but it smelled and tasted like burnt ash. But all you need is the chicken and the fries. I will be back!

I lived in Nashville for 11 year's, and Dave's is some of the best hot chicken I've ever had! If you like spicy, I recommend the extra hot, because the hot was more like medium to the 3 of us who had lunch there. I would have given this a 5, but the Mac and cheese was terrible, to the point where after two bites the both of us who ordered it had to stop. It didn't look it, but it smelled and tasted like burnt ash. But all you need is the chicken and the fries. I will be back!

Everything is just, okay to below average, except the size of the tenders. Dave's is solidly in overrated territory. Meaty tenders - check, well cooked, but the chicken alone really doesn't have much flavor. Not Meat - love the cauliflower, crispy, juicy, and a great chicken alternative...but $2 extra...for a veggie substitute is a consumer crime. These are definitely the best chicken tenders I've ever had! They were so crispy and had so much flavor. I got mild heat so it wasn't spicy but still had so much flavor since they were seasoned well. The sauce was delicious and the employees were happy to give extra sauce if you asked. The fries were really good and crispy too, and I love how you can add cheese sauce to them.
