HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!! COSTUMER SERVICE WAS SO BAD!!!!! Workers are rude and food is made poorly . We felt SO UNCOMFORTABLE!!!! They made us feel unwelcome in their restaurant. Made us feel stupid for trying to order a different item off the menu. Never had this happen before, they aren't accommodating at all! Especially the manager and employees have no respect and customer service skills. This made me feel like I'd never want to enter a Dave's hot chicken let alone this location. DONT COME HERE!!! The chicken is great. The customer service is less than 1 star. Was told to write to dhc.com and I have NEVER received a reply. Disappointed with customer service, not the food.

I am so disappointed and disgusted with my experience. I spent $46 for my family to eat all to find a piece of a metal seal in my sandwich the piece was pretty big so I do not know how somebody missed this being in my sandwich. The worst part is I wasn't able to eat my food right away, so I warmed my food up, not knowing the metal piece was inside of my sandwich. I had a really disappointing experience at Dave's Hot Chicken because of one employee's behavior. I politely asked for a water cup, and he told me I had to pay for it even though I only wanted water. The issue wasn't just the policy -- it was the way he treated me. He was super disrespectful, looking away while talking to me and laughing with his coworkers like he was trying to impress them instead of helping a customer. It felt unprofessional and rude. I got the 2 tenders meal and felt the food was pretty subpar. The bread was mushy and fries were cold. I had the hot level spice on the tenders, but probably should have gotten hotter since it was pretty mild. There wasn't too much foot traffic here on a Monday night, but still had to wait a good while for the food. There is plenty of space to sit, so I guess that's a plus.

Extremely disappointing experience at Dave's Hot Chicken in West Covina. I came in with my nine-year-old son for dinner and spent about $40, expecting at least basic customer service. Cool looking restaurant, relatively clean, and for late night eats, the service was decent... but the food was not good. The chicken was not seasoned, the meat was thick and seasoning sprinkled on the outside but the inside had no flavor at all. The texture was mushy in some places as well. The fries were also underwhelming. I'd rate it 5/10 at best.
