I had a really disappointing experience at Dave's Hot Chicken because of one employee's behavior. I politely asked for a water cup, and he told me I had to pay for it even though I only wanted water. The issue wasn't just the policy -- it was the way he treated me. He was super disrespectful, looking away while talking to me and laughing with his coworkers like he was trying to impress them instead of helping a customer. It felt unprofessional and rude. I got the 2 tenders meal and felt the food was pretty subpar. The bread was mushy and fries were cold. I had the hot level spice on the tenders, but probably should have gotten hotter since it was pretty mild. There wasn't too much foot traffic here on a Monday night, but still had to wait a good while for the food. There is plenty of space to sit, so I guess that's a plus.

Extremely disappointing experience at Dave's Hot Chicken in West Covina. I came in with my nine-year-old son for dinner and spent about $40, expecting at least basic customer service. Cool looking restaurant, relatively clean, and for late night eats, the service was decent... but the food was not good. The chicken was not seasoned, the meat was thick and seasoning sprinkled on the outside but the inside had no flavor at all. The texture was mushy in some places as well. The fries were also underwhelming. I'd rate it 5/10 at best.

if you order from the kiosk, they might disregard your instructions! i also asked for more napkins for 2 orders, they only gave me 2.

Foods great , came here for a reason. But what's the deal with 21 questions while ordering my own food by myself. Not to mention , where's the customer service ?????? Why is it that Americans , because we're in America . Why is it that we have to do your job for you now. Yes it's very frustrating. It's not our responsibility to make sure we get the best service. ITS YOU.
