I would like to begin by noting that I am a frequent customer of Dave's Hot Chicken and have had positive experiences at many of their locations. Unfortunately this particular visit was the most disappointing I have encountered. Upon arrival there was no staff member at the front counter and it took several minutes before the cashier assisted me. After placing my order I waited approximately 15 minutes for my food. Don't count on your pick up order to have the extra sauces you now have to purchase, and I say have to because of the tiny sauce cup given with your meal that also barely covers the lackluster of fries spent too long in the fryer with each meal (Just some more corporate greed). Additionally, remember a drink does not come with your meal and finally, beware of that piece of chicken that should've never made it to the fryer.

Service was decent overall, but I had an issue with my order. The slider I received wasn't intact--it was in two separate pieces, almost like scraps of chicken rather than a proper slider. When I pointed this out and asked for a replacement, the employee explained that the chicken had broken in half during cooking, but he didn't offer to remake it or provide another solution.

15 bucks for a dry sandwich then they charge another 1.50 for sauce. What a joke for a hot chicken place.

First timer here. Last timer here. Chicken was not tender. Fries and cheese sauce were meh. Mac and cheese was disgusting. Extremely creamy but not cheesy. Stale slice of white sandwich bread. Would choose chicken and bread from Raising Canes, nacho fries and cheese sauce from Taco Bell, and Kraft Mac and cheese any day over this place.

This place served just nasty food! I don't see this place open in mid/late 2026. You have to change the way the extra fry their chicken and their seasoning. This restaurant is definitely not kids friendly. Overall, just really bad food.

I enjoy the food and I think it's a decent price. What I don't like is that I call ahead and they tell me a time frame and when I get there and that exact timeframe, the food is still not ready to go. I understand they want it to be super fresh, but I called ahead so that I didn't have to wait and I end up waiting every single time. I hope they fix that.
