TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Tonight was the WORST meal our family has ever had from this place. We have had food here several times and it's always decent... However tonight (Wednesday 1/08/25) who ever was making the food really needs some training. We ordered sliders and there was no sauce, dry bun, no slaw except a few stands of cabbage. White bread and an unseasoned chicken strip with thousand island dressing as a sauce. Very subpar and disappointing.
We have eaten here many times, and love the chicken, but today I ordered 6 sandwiches for my family, and after getting our order wrong and disputing what we ordered, they re-made the order. On the re-made order, all of the spice levels were higher than they have ever been. Even though we've always been fine with the spice levels, all of my kids couldn't eat more than a bite of their sandwiches. Worst first time experience at this fast food place. Had horrible customer service. My chicken looked sad and gross. Will not be returning and i would not recommend at all.
I order food. They gave me the wrong one when I asked them to correct it. They took my order put coleslaw and bread on it and gave me back the same cold food.
When we arrived the restaurant was clean and no wait. We were able to order quickly. Cashier wasn't the friendliest as she tried to rush our order. Upon completing our order she rudely tapped on the tip screen telling me to look there before payment. They are asking for a 15% or more tip on my order. Dude idk what the hype is but I found this place to be flavorless and not good at all won't go again!
One star for being an overpriced copy cat of Canes and Angry Chicks. Just repackaged! I will not be revisiting. Not because of the staff or the ambience. They were great. The place was clean. But because I don't care for this kind of a menu. Chicken, fries, bread and drink.
Ladies working the front were friendly. Area was clean. The food was way over rated. Bland and just not that good. Plain and simple. Just my opinion
