TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Hubs and I have been talking about giving this place a try so off we went. We were breaking our diet and hoped it would be worth it. Not At. All. He ordered a two slider combo with cheese and cheese fries, hot level. I ordered a slider, a tender and a cheese fries, medium level. First bite for me of the tender and it wasn't edible. Location easy parking. Interior clean and bright. Service ok. Expensive. I had the medium sliders and regretted it 8 hours later. Wife had no spice tenders and they were ok. We won't be back. Perhaps you'll have a better experience. I sincerely hope so.
