TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

When I'm in the area and craving that spicy hot chicken, I stop by Dave's. Unfortunately the times I come here, I always forget to take a picture of my food because I finish it before even realizing I was supposed to take a picture to post it here on Yelp haha. Came here after finishing up a weekend of disc golf at shady oaks. Christian took our order and was gracious host. I got the tender Hot and slider. That chicken was juicy and that flavor, ooo boy I'll tell you it was scrumtrulecent. The graf art on the walls adds to the experience!

This location has never disappointed. As a casual/fast food option it is arguably among the best. Staff is courteous, helpful and the food is amazing. I have completed several post-app-ordered meal surveys, all of which have been very positive. I finally decided to leave an actual review. I look forward to my next order soon! Even have gotten family and friends on board with the Dave's Hot Chicken experience!
