TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

The food is incredible! I got the #3 meal with the hot spice level and added a drink. The chicken was so tender and juicy, with a serious kick. The fries were seasoned well and tasted great dipped in Dave's sauce. The gal taking my order was quite polite, too! I highly recommend you try their food!

Drove through for lunch today and Mateo was awesome. Very friendly. Will definitely be coming again.

Service was good. Came in around 6pm on a Thursday and it wasn't busy at all. The menu is pretty simple with the main items being chicken strips or a slider style. I got one of each and I was wondering why adding a single chicken strip was almost 5$ and then I got the thing. The strips are huge! So definitely makes sense on the price. Overall the food was tasty but nothing custom or crazy. The option to add cheese was a slice of American (or what I guess is that cheese).
