TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

We passed this place by for months became we're not into mouth burning spices. Then somebody told us to try the mild spice, and we ended up going there three times in a week. We have them leave out the white bread and we swap the fries for their excellent, not-too-sweet kale coleslaw and it's a delicious healthy dinner at a reasonable price. We're hooked.
Had planned on getting Rubio's for lunch but when I got there, saw that they were temporarily closed due to construction. Thankfully, there was a Dave's next door. Ordered the Slider, medium spice. Quick service and yummy per usual. Will be back for lunch when I'm in the area.

Every time we go the food is great. There is usually a line to order so I recommend you order on the app to avoid the long lines. The chicken is always juicy.

I do not recommend eating in if you think a full 20 minutes for a Dave's #2 is too long of a wait with whatever delivery orders are in front of you. The food is good but they need to step up production if they are going to stay in business. Because cold chicken sandwiches do not turn into repeat business.

It was the best Chicken Slider / Sandwich I've tasted in a long long time. Plus easy service with a smile ... I will be back !!!!
