TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Dave's is located on the corner of College Blvd and Oceanside Blvd where Baskin Robbins used to be. The parking lot has a good amount of spaces but it's tight and can get crowded. When Rubio's reopens next door I imagine it'll be tougher to find a spot. Each time I've been to this location it's been busy but the line moves steadily. The spice was amazing . The chicken was moist. The staff was polite and quick. The store was picturesque. I felt like I was in a clean restaurant.

I will give it to the Dave's Hot Chicken in Oside...ALWAYS PACKED!! On the grubb... First time experience... the wait was redick! However! I did show up like a bootie call at 15 min before they closed, didn't wanna wait in line, live a block away so I had it delivered!
