TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

It's just not my kind of chicken sadly ughhhh it gives off a semi-sweet taste that I'm not use to. My man loved his and I typically go for chicken with the bone in and they don't have that option. If you're the type that prefers bone in, you still might like it, who knows right. Now if you love cheese fries, they're fire af!!! They kinda remind me of a better version of fresh White Castle cheese fries. They had great customer service and gave us coupons to enter for free Drake tickets which we did love! Food was great, just enough heat.. The service was courteous, knowledgable about the menu, explained everything I was asking as a first time diner. The restaurant was very clean, that's a big issue with us. We will be back again! We highly recommend Dave's Hot Chicken!!!

The food here is surprisingly delicious, well seasoned and the meat is tender. The service was good and just a nice place to order some fried chicken when you get the cravings. This location does an outstanding job with the meal prep. Enjoy!
