First time ever trying Dave's.... I went through the drive-thru and ordered a #4 - slider and fries. They have several spice levels. I debated between mild lite and mild, eventually choosing mild. Drinks do not come with their combo meals. The order arrived quickly and my initial reaction was that the sliders are HUGE. The fries had that tummy spice mixture on it. First time visiting Dave's Hot Chicken. The food and service were fantastic and couldn't expect it to be any better. The moment my family and I walked in we were greeted by multiple workers explaining the menu and the different options and offering suggestions. Jody made the fantastic suggestion of adding honey to the sliders for a different taste. "It's bark is worse than it's bite." - My grandson and I were talking about Dave's Hot Chicken. He said he was amazed they had a location in Visalia. The next nearest Dave's is in San Luis Obispo. Well, I guess I had to check this place out. Now, I know their hottest chicken is blazingly hot. That's not for me. I opted for the lite mild. I was pretty sure I could handle that amount of heat. Great Nashville chicken sandwich. The ingredients tastes fresh, pickles were crunchy and the fries were awesome.. definitely one of the better chicken sandwiches I've had.. howlin rays in LA is better but only by a little bit

For some reason this location lacked in the spice department. I have had Dave's many times before but for some reason this place had smaller sandwiches. Not only were the sandwiches smaller but they also didn't really have too much flavor. Now I've tried the hot and extra hot in the bay and it has a kick. So when I brought my dad in to try it I recommended he get the medium and I got the hot. They literally tasted exactly the same. Got the Two Slider combo because the term "slider" made me think they'd be small. Oh no, they are big! One was definitely enough for me. Glad I got extra sauce on the side because it was good for dipping the fries and slider. The "hot" flavor was tasty but I think I'll try extra hot next time.

It was better then I honestly expected, in my opinion better then canes and angry chicks! The Mac n Cheese was so yummy! They were pretty fast giving me my order!
