TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This is the place to go if you're in the mood for fried chicken with a spicy twist. Ordered via Yelp for pickup. You can choose and combo you like: 2 sliders, 2 tenders, slider and tender combo. Ordering took me a while because there are lots of options to choose from. The fries are seasoned with spice too which I loved. They take their spice seriously so order carefully! I went for Medium spice which was just right for me. The order was ready within minutes. Great experience.

Really decent chicken. Be careful, they're spice levels are pretty ruthless. I ordered the hot level and although it wasn't too bad as I was eating it, my lips and throat burned for an hour after I was done. The flavor was really really good tho. They're sliders are beyond delicious and, and the tenders are seasoned exceptionally well. Only complain is that the food was a little oily. I keep seeing Dave's Hot Chicken everywhere in the OC so it got me so curious. I finally decided to try it with my husband when my brother said he was going to DoorDash Dave's. I got the combo with 1 slider and 1 chicken tender. First bite of the slider was delicious! Loved the bread (I normally don't like bread), the chicken was surprisingly juicy (I 'm very picky with chicken because they tend to be dry). Friendly service and great location. Cool wall designs. Employee who served and took the order was friendly. At this time, they are offering a check-in on yelp deal for free drink. I come here all the time with my son. It's addicting, I would recommend starting off with the medium spice level first before going higher. Milkshakes are original and to die for, would put in and out to shame.
