I really just wanted a snack. I do love the single chicken tender option. Using the app, I place the order online. There is plenty of parking out front although with the addition of the coffee and Mendocino Farms a little congested. Inside the location was Poppin.Good music was playing. We ordered pickup from Dave's Hot Chicken and it was very good. Everything was hot when we received it and the chicken was juicy and flavorful. I had the slider and tender combo, and the slider was definitely my favorite part. The sauce on the slider was delicious. The slaw and fries were also very good. Every aspect of our order was correct, down to the type and number of sauces we requested. Great experience and I look forward to ordering from Dave's again!

Normally I am not a fast food person but I make expectations for halal chicken and higher quality ingredients. Had the chicken tenders and fries. Very good fries and chicken was great too. The only thing off was the amount of seasoning on the chicken. I am okay with things being hot or spicy. The chicken's texture was caked in spices so you couldn't enjoy it completely amongst the dry clumps. Yikes. Other than that it was a good experience... I used my napkin a lot.

Always bomb! Best hot chicken in OC, stoked they opened one up closer to us than the Costa Mesa one! Though my husband still goes there on his lunch breaks ;)

I have been on a hot chicken kick, so I thought I'd give Dave's Hot Chicken a try. I did a mobile order on their website and ordered the 2 sliders (mild) with fries, and I also added a side of mac & cheese. (I should say that I didn't get the sauce or slaw because I'm not a fan of those things!) My quick review based on that--if you're looking for incredible hot chicken, this is not the place, but if you're looking for quick pick-up/drive-thru chicken, then this does the job. So good. Hot & Fresh. The manager Joey is super helpful and runs an efficient, friendly and clean store. Plenty of outdoor seating and bathrooms in store. Make sure to add cheese to your slider!
