I love the fact that this location exists. Shout out to Kalea she has such a great spirit and is super friendly, her customer service is top notch.Thank you! Not to mention the fact that the food is super good. Please keep the Dave's NOT Chicken on the menu, everyone loves it

This spot is okay for a franchise. I don't really like chicken tenders to begin with but the sauce makes it bearable. This is no Howling Rays but the fried tenders and fries are good with the sweet mayo dip. I got the 2 sliders and fries--this is big enough for 2 meals. I wish the tender sat more fittingly between the buns so it was kind of weird biting one piece of the chicken and another for the bun/slaw side.

I had been wanting to try, Dave's Hot Chicken, since they opened up a while ago. I finally had a chance to take the family and give them a go. Dave's, is located at the Target parking lot off of Alicia Parkway. There is a lot of parking available. This little corner has multiple places to dine and from what I can recall, there are only two out of four restaurants here that had outdoor seating. Dave's Hot Chicken is one of my favorite places to get fried chicken! My go-to order is the #3 combo; one slider and one chicken tender, both slightly mild. The chicken was flavorful and juicy, though I found it spicier than expected. The bread served with the tender could have more flavor, but overall, the chicken itself was delicious. I recommend if you're in the mood for some heat!

The stars are for the service, which has been fantastic! However this location is messing up the chicken. I have eaten the most at the Irvine location and it's the one that made me fall in love with Dave's. When I saw they were bringing one to MV I was very excited. Unfortunately, the consistency at this location is hit or miss. They put too much seasoning on the chicken and it dries it out. YUM! I absolutely love hot chicken, it's on my top 5 favorites list and Dave's didn't disappoint. I was super glad when they opened a location near me and was ecstatic to try it out! The inside is super cool (design wise) and nods to mission Viejo which i like and the ordering process is easy as a fast casual restaurant! Seems pretty straightforward-just get chicken tenders and French fries. I love the krinkle cut style fries, dip with sauces and a nice, refreshing drink! I give three stars because they basically serve trash. Nothing at all is reusable, and when you leave the restaurant there's a bunch of DAVES trash and napkins all over the ground outside littering the streets and makes neighboring businesses suffer and looks trashy.
