TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Like so many things these days, no longer cheap! Food was fine, front counter service was helpful. Strange observation, but the music was so tinny. We know they have a team that manages the builds of these places, if you want to pipe in loud music, at least have it sound good!
We were helped by Joy and she was really really sweet and went above and beyond for us. Her customer service was very welcoming as well. The food was really great. very nice and clean location.
Ok, yes, I just left another eatery. However, when I saw a DJ playing music and that Dave's Hot Chicken was open, I had to park and get out to observe this new chicken spot. Several employees were enthusiastically announcing the grand opening and distributing Dave's Hot Chicken stickers. I genuinely enjoyed the lively atmosphere and the crowd. Seitu M. Good service and great food. 10/10 highly recommend the number 2 with cheese. Hooked it up with the sauces as well and was very kind.

I've never had Dave's Hot Chicken before, but I'm pretty happy with the food. The cashier Seitu was quite nice and struck up a quick but nice conversation with me and my girlfriend. I love the partial open air and neon lights at this location, but I just love neon lights in general.
Great Food! Even greater service from Seitu! He was very nice helping my girlfriend choose what she wanted to try(her first time) the food was fresh and was ready quickly. Thank you Seitu again for the great hospitality and making us feel comfortable. MAKE THAT GUY A MANAGER ASAP!
