TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This location is new, so I wanted to try it out. As soon as I walked up to the door I was greeted. The staff here are sooo kind and accommodating. The customer service here is top tier. The food was also amazing! I can't wait to go back! Aisha who took my order was the absolute sweetest!

This location is way better than the one they had on 2nd St! This is way faster, cleaner, and better service. I appreciated the worker as they greeted us once we walked in and took our order right away. There were not a lot of people and our order came so fast! He even got us extra sauce and gave us honey when we asked. Food was hot and fresh, fries were crispy, pickles were crunchy and great flavor, bread was soft. Hey, when it comes to the sandwich, Dave has got a good grasp, but I found that everything else about my experience came up short. Our food took nearly 10 minutes to come out, not something that I blame the staff for, I just don't get how in a fairly uncrowded restaurant it takes that long to smack a piece of chicken between two freaking buns! As far as the 9-minute ticket time we can understand frustration but our Sundays get busy and we cook our chicken fresh to order. Wow! They're consistently good and their chicken sliders with cheese are to die for! I also love their soda selection of bottled and dispense soda. Soooo good and spicy unless you get mild or no spice which I am too scared to try, and ironically I love their spiciest Atomic level but it's TOO SPICY for me. The BEST flavor balance with spice is the Hot level. Once you get to Extra Hot it's good but it's like they use less flavor in exchange for more spice, while the Hot is perfectly flavorful and spicy.
