TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

A really good choice for people who have a friend that likes things to be so hot their insides feel like they're getting rearranged. The service was what you would expect from a nice fast food place the workers were polite and patient.
Dave's Hot Chicken was born in LA in 2017, and quickly became wildly popular. They now have over 100 locations nationwide. When this location opened on 2nd Street in Long Beach, I thought meh, another place I have no interest in (I don't eat meat). Food is good like all Dave's locations I've been to. Anastasia Is a sweetheart. Polite and professional. There's some weird characters around here and it takes a lot of patience to deal with these people. On the plus side, that's a great life skill!
Had the cauliflower bites w/fries & pickles and fell in love. Nice little joint in Belmont Shore to get your grub on.
Service is always pretty good here. The shakes are fine although the chocolate is always under chocolatey. Bring your own cup if you want water. As for the food, really quite good. The crinkle cut fries are tasty and you can get them seasoned with spice, which I implore you to do. The kale slaw is really tasty and not mayo-ish at all. Pickles are crispy. I cannot get enough of this place. It is seriously that good that I ordered it 3 times in a week! Perfect hot meter for the hot flavor. The pickles and cheese to top off the sliders were perfect for a hungry appetite. Very addicting so don't say I didn't warn you.
The best chicken sandwich I've ever had in my entire life I can eat this all day everyday if I had the money for it
